Alarm Phone stands in solidarity with Sudanese communities on hunger strike in #Greece, who are protesting against the criminalisation of Sudanese refugees for boat driving. The next trial takes place on 17th December in #Crete. We join the call to #FreeTheBoys!

This morning @alarm_phone reported a fiberglass boat with ~40 people in critical condition. Our #Seabird aircraft spotted them adrift in international waters: immediate rescue is needed!

🆘️ ~36 people in need, south of #Crete!
We have reason to believe that the people were rescued by a merchant vessel that is now headed to #Egypt, which is not a safe place! The vessel belongs to @cmacgm & we urge them to change course and take the people to disembark in #Greece
