Rescued!!! @soshumanity_en responded to our distress call and carried out a successful rescue operation. Where states fail, the #civilfleet steps in!
🔴Breaking: After a distress call from Alarmphone, we were able to rescue > 70 people today – incl. women, children & a baby – from an unseaworthy wooden boat. They had been at sea for over 24h in bad weather conditions, with a broken engine & no life-saving equipment. 1/2
