⚫ Shipwreck in the Central Med! Yesterday we learned that the boat we were alerted to had capsized off #Sicily. 61 survivors were brought to #Malta, some are in hospital, 1 person died. We never had contact to the boat but were told it carried 72 people.

We are in contact with a group who fled #Libya. They report that they are at sea for 3 days. We alerted authorities ca. 5h ago, but still no rescue in sight! Only a plane has spotted them from air. Night is falling
immediate rescue needed!
