‼️ Illegal interception in international waters! The #civilfleet vessel Humanity 1 witnessed an interception by the so-called Libyan coastguard at 13:00h today. Its crew was about to proceed & rescue the people and bring them to a safe port. However, they were forcibly returned.

🆘 from ~13 people stranded on #Lesvos #Greece

We were alerted to a group of 13 people stranded without food or water on Lesvos, close to #Katsinia beach, among them injured & sick people. We’ve alerted @HCoastguard @HellenicPolice and urge them to assist now & #NoPushback!

🆘 from ~30 people in distress in the #Aegean, #Greece

This morning we were contacted by 30 people urgently in distress close to #Farmakonisi, among them children, pregnant women & sick people. We have alerted @HCoastguard - we urge them to rescue now & #NoPushback!
