🔴1/4 Following an alert from @alarm_phone, the #OceanViking today evacuated 44 people from the merchant vessel SIDER in the Maltese SRR, many in critical medical condition. Our teams activated a mass casualty response plan.
In these days marked by Cyclone Harry, 380 people are still missing in the central Mediterranean. Eight boats left Tunisia and never arrived, including one last Friday with 51 people on board: the only one survivor is in critical condition.
