Wir bleiben mit dem Anrufer in Kontakt und vermitteln zwischen Rettungsbehörden und den Flüchtlingen. Wenn die Rettung nicht oder zu langsam anläuft, versuchen wir Druck zu machen. Wir intervenieren auch, wenn der Grenzschutz die Flüchtlinge nach der Rettung illegal nach Nordafrika oder in die Türkei abschieben will.“

🆘Where are they? We were informed about a boat that left Algeria on the 10th of March with 21 people onboard. We have not been able to contact them, no information from the relevant authorities. Is this boat the one that shipwrecked off #Algiers some days ago?
Our full solidarity with the #Seawatch5! We kindly ask @GiorgiaMeloni to stop playing games at the expense of survivors who need care at land. Instead of holding them hostage on a ship for no good reason, let the people disembark!
