« Celle-ci ne sauve pas de vie. Frontex ne fait que du contrôle et terrorise les migrants », lance Hatem Gheribi de Watch the Med. Il cite les chiffres de « 19.000 migrants secourus par des cargos en Méditerranée entre novembre 2014 et avril 2015 contre seulement 1.700 par les bateaux de Frontex ». Le collectif dénonce « une Europe forteresse » et certaines associations comme le NPA ou Watch The Med demandent « la liberté de circulation et d’installation des populations ».

🆘 ~40 people at risk in the Central Med! We alerted authorities yesterday evening to about 40 people who fled #Libya. They report that they're adrift and the wind is strong. Still, authorities are not intervening. They are afraid for their lives, rescue without further delay!
