« Celle-ci ne sauve pas de vie. Frontex ne fait que du contrôle et terrorise les migrants », lance Hatem Gheribi de Watch the Med. Il cite les chiffres de « 19.000 migrants secourus par des cargos en Méditerranée entre novembre 2014 et avril 2015 contre seulement 1.700 par les bateaux de Frontex ». Le collectif dénonce « une Europe forteresse » et certaines associations comme le NPA ou Watch The Med demandent « la liberté de circulation et d’installation des populations ».

🆘 in the Atlantic! 21 people left Morocco on the 23rd of February. We have no news from them and the weather got worse since their departure. The authorities are alerted, and we demand an active search and rescue operation so that they can be found quickly!
