🆘 Boat in distress in the central Med!

A wooden boat carrying 41 people left from #Zuwarah in #Libya on the evening of 5 Oct., trying to reach #Lampedusa. We are not able to reach them. The weather is very bad & the people need to be rescued urgently! Authorities are informed.

🆘 4 people in distress close to #Zvezdets, #Bulgaria. Yesterday we informed #Bulgarian authorities about 4 people in need of help. One of them had a broken leg & they had no food & water. #Bulgarian authorities said they haven't found the group. We're worried, where are they?

Today, 12 years after the horrible shipwreck off #Lampedusa, we publish a text by Father Zerai, a key inspiration behind the Alarm Phone project. He reminds us that remembering shipwrecks is not an empty gesture but a call for action and radical change.
