🆘 ~50 people in distress on their way to #Crete, #Greece

We are in contact with this group, who say they need assistance urgently. Three merchant vessels are in the vicinity. We call on them and relevant authorities to carry out a rescue to a place of safety. No #pushback!

🆘 ~58 people in distress in the Central Med!
We are in contact with ~58 people on a rubber boat in urgent distress ca. 40 miles north of Libya. They report water in the boat and are moving only very slowly. We alerted authorities 3 hours ago - an urgent intervention is needed!
