Criminal prosecution against the @HCoastGuard!

The public prosecutor of the naval court of #Greece has pressed charges against 17 members of the #Greek coastguard, including the captain & crew of the coast guard vessel ΛΣ 920.

! 200 people on 2 boats in distress in the Central Mediterranean!

We have alerted authorities to 2 wooden boats, carrying about 100 people each. We can no longer reach one of them, while the other is struggling with high waves.

Both boats need to be rescued without delay!

On the phone the people told us that there are children and sick people among them. This morning they told us that they could see the lights of the island. The @HCoastGuard did not share any info with us, whether they will assist the group.
