The group reports that they are in severe distress: the engine is not working anymore, they are adrift & water is coming into the boat! We informed the @HCoastGuard & urge them to react immediately!

🆘 from 4 boats in the Eastern Med!

We know of 4 boats with a total of ~187 people near #Crete & #Gavdos, #Greece. The groups, who fled #Libya, report serious distress and most of them have water coming into their boats. Authorities are informed: rescue before it's too late!

We were contacted by yet another group of 32 people on their way to Crete. They're seriously in distress with a lot of water coming into the boat. Authorities are informed. We demand immediate #rescue and #SafePassage!
