7 years late but good news for the 24 people acquitted in #Lesvos. However, a harmful legacy remains: the baseless charges succeeded in criminalising rescue missions in #Greece & there is ongoing criminalisation of boat drivers & people seeking safety.

🆘 Bateau en détresse en #WesternMed. Nous avons été alertés par un groupe qui a quitté #Tipasa, #Algérie, il y a 2 jours, en direction de l'#Espagne. Nous avons perdu contact avec eux et sommes inquiets. @Salvamentogob est alerté. Nous espérons qu'ils seront bientôt retrouvés!

🆘 Boat in distress in the #WesternMed. We were alerted to a group that left #Tipasa, #Algeria, 2 days ago, heading towards #Spain. We have lost contact to them and are worried. @Salvamentogob is alerted. We hope they will soon be found!
