Sie befindet sich auf einem Boot in der Nähe von Lesbos. Der Motor streikt. Die hier publizierte Whatsapp-Kommunikation gibt eindrucksvolle Einblicke in die wertvolle Arbeit des Alarmphone und macht die Verwerflichkeit der europäischen Grenzpolitik deutlich, die Geflüchtete in solch lebensgefährliche und nur zu oft tödliche Situationen bringt.”

🆘 ~40 people at risk in the Central Med! We alerted authorities yesterday evening to about 40 people who fled #Libya. They report that they're adrift and the wind is strong. Still, authorities are not intervening. They are afraid for their lives, rescue without further delay!
